Our 1-phase track lighting system consists of three parts. Choose the size of the track, desired number of hanging fittings (or track lights), and connectors. Once these have been chosen, the installation can begin. Need help installing the system? Please refer to the manual.

The difference between a 1-phase and 3-phase track system

With a 1-phase track lighting system, all track lights are connected to one group, making the track more refined and suitable for consumer use. A 3-phase track system is more often used in stores and other business spaces. The track lights can be switched on and off separately in three groups. 

Choosing the right GU10 light source 

The pendant lights for track lighting are supplied without a GU10 light source. This way, you can choose exactly the right bulb to fit your unique lighting design. You can choose a bulb with a narrow light angle, where you can shine the light to a specific point in the room, such as an art object on the wall or the counter top in the kitchen. If you wish to distribute the light more centrally, choose a wider light angle. We have the following options below:

• 2700K GU10 bulbs: Warm white light colour, suitable for the living room, kitchen and bedroom.
• 4000K GU10 bulbs: White light colour, suitable for spaces where good visibility is important, such as offices and conference rooms.
• Dim-to-warm GU10 bulbs: With these bulbs, in addition to the light's intensity, the light colour also changes from 2700K (warm white) to 2200K (extra warm white/candlelight). This allows you to adjust the light effect. The extra warm white light is suitable for when you want to create a cosy ambience, while the warm white colour can also be functional for reading a book.
• Smart GU10 bulbs: With these bulbs, you can control the lighting with your smartphone. The app is free and is called 'Smart Life'. The app works on Android, iOS and is also compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa. Through the app, you can determine the colour, light intensity and dim the spot.

Explanation of colour temperature and wattage

The colour temperature of light is expressed in Kelvin. The lower the Kelvin value, the warmer the light. The higher the value, the whiter the light. 6000K can be compared to the colour of daylight. Extra warm white light is good if you want to create a cosy atmosphere, and the warm white colour can not only be atmospheric but also functional, for example for reading a book. The wattage says something about the light intensity of the lamp. From 1 watt upwards, the lamp can be used functionally. 1 watt is comparable to an 8-watt light bulb. A wattage of less than 1 watt should be chosen if the purpose of the lamp is atmospheric lighting.
