Looking for floodlights? Light up your whole garden! LED floodlights, also called wide-beam lights, are often used to light large spaces and areas, such as a garden or driveway. Floodlights are also very suitable as work lights, as they provide a lot of light. The light ranges from 10W to 100W. You also have a wide choice when it comes to light colour: we offer floodlights between 3000K and 6000K. You will also find an LED floodlight with sensor. So we guarantee that you will find the right floodlight for every application in our range.

What are floodlights used for?

Garden lighting

Installing a floodlight in the garden is very popular. Floodlights are widely used to illuminate trees, shrubs or other objects in the garden. This way, you create depth and ensure a beautifully lit garden. For this application, we recommend a 10-watt floodlight in the light colour 3000K.

Terrain lighting

Floodlights give a lot of light and are powerful enough to light a large area without any problems. In this case, choose a floodlight with a higher wattage, such as 50 or 100 watts.

Work lighting

When you are at work, good visibility and therefore clear light is important. A floodlight is then your best friend. For functional lighting, we recommend selecting a floodlight in a bright or cold light colour, such as 5000 or 6000K.

LED floodlights: what wattage do I choose?

In our product range, you will find floodlights with a wattage between 10 and 100 watts. The following main rule applies to wattage: the higher the wattage, the brighter the lamp. Do you want to illuminate a large field or space? Then choose a lamp with a high wattage, such as 50 or 100 watts. Are you installing several floodlights in a row or is a lot of light not necessary because you only want to illuminate a small area, for example? Then choose floodlights with a lower wattage, such as 10 or 20 watts.

Light colour of floodlights

The light colour of floodlights is expressed in Kelvin. The lower the Kelvin, the warmer the light colour. Warm light means white light with a yellow or orange undertone. If you are looking for a floodlight with cold white light (i.e. without a yellow undertone), it is best to choose a floodlight in 6000K. Floodlights in 6000K are ideal when good visibility is important. Are you looking for more pleasant, warmer light with a yellow undertone? Then choose a floodlight in 3000K. This light colour is suitable for creating an accessible atmosphere. For a floodlight with bright white light, choose 5000K. This is the most neutral light colour.

Are LED floodlights waterproof?

Floodlights can face all kinds of weather conditions: ice, rain, sun, etc. A high degree of protection is therefore important. This ensures that the lamp remains safe and lasts a long time. All LED floodlights in our range have a minimum IP rating of IP65. This means that the floodlights are suitable for long-term outdoor use and can withstand the Dutch weather.

Are there any floodlights with sensor?

A floodlight with sensor is very practical because the lamp switches on and off by itself and only turns on when motion is detected. This way, the lamp controls everything itself and makes sure you never walk outside in the dark again. Check out our floodlight more sensor and learn more about the possibilities.

How do I mount a floodlight?

You can place the floodlights on the ground. In addition, you can easily attach the lamps to a wall using the movable bracket. You can open the lamp at the back to insert the desired cord. The wide-beam lamps come with a cord. The cord length can be adjusted thanks to a clever flap at the back.
