These dimmable 2.5-watt filament bulbs are perfect for providing your living room, terrace, catering establishment or office with ambient lighting. Filament is one of the latest developments in LED lighting. The traditional, warm glow of classic incandescent bulbs is reproduced without any of the disadvantages. Unlike incandescent bulbs, LED bulbs use very little energy, while maintaining a long life-span. The polycarbonate cap creates an original light effect. The filament in the bulb is easy to see, making the bulbs true eye-catchers and perfect to combine with our festoon lights. These bulbs have a diameter of 60 mm and therefore look a lot like a traditional bulb.
Thanks to the dimming function, the light intensity of the bulbs can be adjusted to your chosen desired level. This gives you the flexibility to use the bulbs as mood lighting, but also to create more light. The bulbs are dimmable with our IP44 dimmer sets with remote control.
With these bulbs, you can choose between 2.5 watts and 3.5 watts. You can find more explanations about the different wattages here.
The light colour of white bulbs is expressed in Kelvin. Kelvin is a spectrum where the lower the number, the warmer the colour. 2200 Kelvin (2200K) is what we call ‘extra’ warm white. It is similar to the colour of candlelight, as the light is more yellow. 2700 Kelvin (2700K) is the colour of the incandescent bulb, still warm white, but a little less yellow. We sometimes have customers who find 2200K too warm, but on the other hand, we also have customers who find 2700K not warm enough. Fortunately, the vast majority of customers are happy with their initial choice for either light colour.
